What can I do about it?
Focus on self-help measures, such as resting as much as you can, eating right, stop blaming yourself, talking to someone you trust about your feelings. Let your doctor know. Find a local therapist that specializes in pp depression. DO NOT wait to get proper treatment. Do not let feelings of shame, guilt, or embarrassment get in the way of you getting help. The longer you wait, the harder it is to treat. |
